The IGLB centers will allow Countries to integrate new and much higher percentages of carbon free energy, while maintaining a reliable and competitive electric system. The Altresco IGLB center is based on 25 years of experience successfully developing power generation projects that were capable of serving many diverse stakeholders for decades in a sustainable way. The first task in creating long term sustainable projects or enterprises is to find the common denominators or premises that will meet essential goals of each of the stakeholders. These common denominators are what create the matrix that holds all of the elements together over time. There is no way one can expect to create contracts that will survive for 25 years between unwilling parties.
Altresco has had the opportunity to develop successful projects and subsequently observe the consequences of decisions made.We have watched expansions and contractions in the markets of each of the elements of our projects and been able to learn from these.
We have also been able to objectively observe the evolution and the impacts of the new Variable Energy Resources into the electric system.We have watched as this process has reached the boundaries of sustainability.
From these years of study and collaboration we have been able to define a method for integrating 4 times more wind and other variable resources with a hybrid power generation center that will be the first choice of grid dispatch and grid reliability managers while providing the best possible value to each and ever part of the energy chain.
Our IGLB centers are committed to eliminating waste. No wasted transmission coming in or out. No wasted night time energy because we will be using it to create potable water and other high value products. No wasted transportation of fuels because they will be located at the energy source.

Altresco has developed the formulas and algorithms necessary to identify the optimum sites for large scale low cost central station size generation as well as more distributed and load specific solutions. In all cases we are able to integrate far higher percentages of renewable generation than today's grid can affordably handle.
